Kelly Lee
About Kelly
Kelly rekindled her childhood passion for creating and drawing during the pandemic. Her recent retirement as a Clinical Psychologist allowed her to develop her craft and artistic expression at the Indianapolis Art Center. As a self-taught artist, she recently discovered printmaking at IAC. Feeling like “love at first sight,” printmaking offers Kelly the perfect blend of bold images and subtle storytelling. Her prints are rooted in the musing, doodles, and sketches found in her many sketchbooks. Her artistic style lends a graphic quality to everyday objects and experiences. By celebrating the ordinary, Kelly’s prints capture quiet moments that evoke nostalgic memories and fond feelings. Her artwork, Sunset Serenade, won the printmaking division at the Indiana State Fair in 2025. She also serves as a board member of the Columbus Area Arts Council in Columbus, Indiana.
