Carrie Wild

Carrie Wild grew up in the Flint Hills area of eastern Kansas, and heading eastward, received her B.A. in Studio Art from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. She's lived in Indianapolis ever since, working as a fine artist and illustrator in ink and watercolor. She's a juried member of Indiana Artisan, Indiana Artists Club, and Art IN Hand Gallery, an artist-owned and operated collective in Zionsville. In addition to exhibiting her paintings in galleries, museums, and at juried art fairs, she also licenses her images.

Carrie took her first etching class at the Indianapolis Art Center in 2016, and enjoys channeling her ideas into a new medium.  As with her regular ink work, she often adds watercolor to her etchings.  Birds and other small animals are her favorite subjects.
